Maiden’s Tower to be opened to visitors next March
The Culture and Tourism Ministry is aiming to open the Maiden's Tower, whose restoration works have been going on since September 2021, to visitors by next March, Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy has said.
"We gave the building a tower museum format so that a structure that Istanbulites watch from afar will now become a structure from which they watch Istanbul from the inside," Ersoy said.

Turkish Airlines becomes Champions League partner
Turkish Airlines has become the first airline to partner with the UEFA Champions League, with the 2023 final to take place in Istanbul.
As part of the deal, Turkish Airlines will also partner with the UEFA Super Cup, the UEFA Futsal Champions League finals, and the UEFA Youth League finals, the UEFA said.

Economic model helps limit exchange rate volatility: Nebati
Türkiye's economic model helps limit the effects of the volatility in exchange rate, Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati has said.
The Türkiye Economic Model supports exports by adopting the value-added production approach, he added.
"With this mode, the impacts of exchange rate volatility, which is occasionally experienced, is limited," Nebati wrote on Twitter.
Maiden’s Tower to open as museum in 2023: Officials
Amid allegations that the Maiden's Tower, one of Istanbul's landmarks, is being demolished, the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Museums have announced that the historical structure is undergoing renovation and will serve as a museum next year, denying all rumors.
Travis at Zorlu PSM
As part of its 'The Invisible Band In Concert plus The Classic Hits' tour, Brit-rock band Travis will perform at Zorlu PSM on Oct. 19.
The band's latest album in December last year to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their album 'The Invisible Band,' featuring new versions of legendary hits such as 'Sing,' 'Side' and 'Flowers in the Window.'
