Two years after the death of renowned French chef Paul Bocuse, the Michelin Guide has stripped his flagship restaurant of the coveted three-star ranking it held for half a century, prompting anger and dismay from his culinary peers.

AGERPRES special correspondent Oana Ghita reports: Former President of Hungary Pal Schmitt declared on Tuesday, during the jury's dish assessment process at the prestigious Bocuse d'Or culinary competition, that in his country - which will host the Bocuse d'Or European round in 2016 - the visitors will find people who love people, music, and good food.

For two days, 24 chefs of the international elite will offer demonstrations of their art in the Bocuse d'Or competition.

Bocuse d'Or is a real competition for the professionals who show their talents right before the eyes of thousands of spectators and who cannot stop for a double take for the camera, Chairman of SIRHA, the world hospitality and food service event, Jerome Bocuse, the son of famous chef Paul Bocuse, told AGERPRES in a recent interview.
