Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic on Thursday spoke on the phone with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker to discuss the migrant crisis.

Juncker praised Serbia's efforts aimed at solving the issue of migrants, noting that Serbia is one of the countries that respect European values and act accordingly, the Serbian government press office said in a statement.

President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker wrote an article on the events occurred in 2015, “a year when European solidarity withstood what may have been the greatest trials it has faced since the end of World War II”.

A forum revealing the investment opportunities of the Juncker Plan will take place in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia.
