W. Balkans leaders invited to EU's refugee crisis meeting
European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has scheduled an extraordinary meeting devoted to the refugee crisis.
The gathering, to be held at the level of heads of state or government and dubbed "Leaders' Meeting", will take place on Sunday, October 25.

European Commission Vice President Frans Timmermans and Commissioner Johannes Hahn were negotiating with the Turkish authorities through the whole night and there is a good possibility for success, stated European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker during a joint press conference with Parliament President Martin Schulz in Brussels.
EU Commission’s efforts to address refugee crisis focused on Greece, Juncker says
“The European Commission’s efforts on dealing with the refugee crisis are focused on Greece,” the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker said at the European Parliament plenary.
He also explained that he is preparing a “cooperation memorandum between EU-Turkey” on the same issue.
Juncker to meet Tsipras on Wednesday
European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker will receive on Wednesday Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras at 18:00 (Athens time), announced earlier EU Commission spokesman Margaritis Schinas.
The meeting will be held before the start of the EU Summit on the refugee issue.

Kostas Agorastos, head of the Greek Regions Association to meet EC Prez. Juncker
The President of the Association of Greek Regions, Kostas Agorastos will meet with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker Monday to discuss the migration crisis and the ‘Juncker financial growth package’. The meeting will take place in Brussels and two men will examine the role of the Greek regions in light of the huge refugee crisis.
Romania Opposes Mandatory EU Refugee Quotas
Romanian Interior Minister Gabriel Oprea said on Monday that Bucharest will reject the European Commission's plan for national quotas for refugees.
"I have a clear mandate from the president and from the prime minister to politely refuse the EC request," Oprea said before leaving for Brussels, where EU interior ministers will hold a meeting on the refugee crisis.
