WATCH LIVE! Jean-Claude Juncker presents State of the Union speech, refugees main focus (vids)

European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker is speaking in Strasbourg on Wednesday morning. This is his first State of the Union speech at the European Parliament that is set to report on his achievement and set out his vision. Much of the address is expected to focus on the refugee crisis.

During the address, Juncker is announcing new proposals for the redistribution of asylum seekers and he will present plans to relocate 160,000 people according to quotas.

– “In spite of our fragility, weaknesses, self-perceived weaknesses, today it is Europe that presents a world-wide place of hope and haven of stability.”

–  “60 million refugees after World War II in Europe.”
