''I voted for change, justice, border and home security'', said the leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) Kornelia Ninova, after exercising her right to vote.

GERB's chairman Boyko Borisov is initiating a law suit against the chairwoman of BSP Korneliya Ninova. Borisov's suit against Ninova is because of her statement regarding Borisov - "You are a thief", made on Thursday morning on Nova TV, announced GERB.

With this statement, Ninova is damaging the honour and dignity of Boyko Borisov and breaking the law.

GERB's leader Boyko Borisov is certain that his party will not enter a coalition with either DOST or DPS. BSP's leader Korneliya Ninova, however, predicted a commitment between GERB and DOST, thus refusing any future cooperation with Borisov.

The leaders of the two most influential political formations gave separate interviews for AFP, cited by Focus agency.

Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) chair Korneliya Ninova has vowed to veto any renewal of sanctions imposed on Russia by the European Union.

Her comments, cited by the BSP press office, follow a Facebook post which slams the restrictions hampering, according to socialists, Bulgaria's trade and economy.

Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) chair Korneliya Ninova has been elected to the presidium of the Socialist International, her party says.

In a vote during the global body's meeting in Cartagena, Columbia, she has been picked by 150 delegates.

There are as many as 32 Vice Presidential seats in the presidium.

BSP's leader Korneliya Ninova announced that she has waited for a long time to settle things with Boyko Borisov man-to-man. The reason for Ninova's announcement was the statement of GERB's leader on Friday that he wants a debate, not between himself and Ninova alone, but with the participation of experts in different policies.

The chairwoman of BSP Korneliya Ninova confirmed that she has been nominated for Vice President of the Socialist International.

"Yes, I have been nominated. I was invited personally by Mr. Luis Ayala who is the Secretary General of the international organisation," stated Ninova and added:

Journalists, artists, athletes, experts and former military men are joining the ranks of Bulgaria's main parties - the centre-right GERB led by Boyko Borissov and the Bulgarian Socialist Party, BSP, led by Korneliya Ninova - ahead of the early parliamentary election set for March 26.

As expected, Boyko Borisov (GERB) and Korneliya Ninova (BSP) will clash as leaders of the deputy lists in the 25th multi-mandate constituency in Sofia.

A similar clash is expected in Kardzhali where, most probably, DPS' list will be headed by the chairman of the movement Mustafa Karadayi, while that of the coalition Obedinenie DOST will be led by Lutvi Mestan.

BSP's chairwoman Korneliya Ninova has called for the names of Bulgarian European deputies who supported the free-trade agreement with Canada - CETA to be made public and for the parties which nominated them to bear political responsibility.
