Shooter responsible for killing off-duty soldiers among detained suspects: Governor’s office

A shooter who allegedly helped kill three off-duty soldiers in Hakkari’s Yüksekova district on Oct. 25 is among three suspects who was detained in a late-night operation, the Hakkari Governor’s Office said in a statement Oct. 27.

Kidnapped Turkish guard murdered execution-style

A Turkish village guard who disappeared last month was killed by separatists who shot him against a post in an execution-style killing, the army said Oct. 27.
