Greece has once again warned North Macedonia that failing to respect the name deal between the two countries will jeopardize the Balkan state's path to European Union membership.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has said that military aid to Ukraine has "created holes in our own defense capabilities," sparking a backlash from opposition parties.

The premier made the comments in an interview with the Hudson Institute on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Washington.

Greek Defense Minister Nikos Dendias signed a Letter of Intent on Thursday with his Romanian and Bulgarian counterparts for cross-border military mobility cooperation.

"We will continue to support Ukraine," he emphasized.
