Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras supported German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Germany’s policy during the meeting held on Friday among the political leaders saying “Germany support us, but it is Austria that does the ‘dirty work’”.

Main opposition New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis lashed out at Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras speaking at ND parliamentary group on Tuesday.

A political leaders meeting chaired by President of Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos will take place on Friday, according to sources.

The same sources said that earlier on Monday that Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras spoke on the phone with Mr. Pavlopoulos. Mr.Tsipras had also a phone contact with main opposition New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The three arrested who are accused of blackmailing public organizations, companies and banks are facing charges of embezzling Greek state and a life sentence in prison. They will appear in front of the prosecutor on Friday to defend themselves.

The information collected and included in the case bring to light shocking information on the way the arrested men acted.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras called the leader of main opposition party New Democracy, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, yesterday in an attempt to reach consensus and define a national stance on refugees and migrants issue.

However, a few hours later Mr. Tsipras lashed out at Mr. Mitsotakis, who is in favor of a common stance on refugee issue.

The leader of main opposition New Democracy Kyriakos Mitsotakis expressed his concerns over the developments in refugee issue to President of Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos.

Mr. Mitsotakis asked to see Mr. Pavlopoulos in order to talk about the recent developments on refugee and migration issue.

The information collected so far reveal the actions of the three arrested who are accused of blackmailing public organizations, companies and banks.

The Greek government has now to deal with the consequences of its policies on refugee issue, since, despite the rhetoric of Prime Minister, the promise made by EU leaders that the status quo on the borders of Europe would remain did not last more than 24 hours.
