Lavrov: Serbia-Russia relations improving in all fields

The dialogue between Russian and Serbian presidents, based on trust, encourages development of bilateral cooperation in all fields.

This is what Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told his Serbian counterpart Ivica Dacic, who was in Moscow on Friday.

"Our relations are on the rise in all areas," Lavrov said, according to TASS.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who is in New York for the 72nd General Assembly of the United Nations, met with his Japanese counterpart Taro Kono and said that the tense situation on the Korean Peninsula requires all sides of the region to constantly interact with one another and look for a way out of the crisis, writes Russian newspaper Moskovski Komsomolets.

Lavrov to meet with Dacic, Guterres in St Petersburg

MOSCOW - Russian FM Sergey Lavrov will on Friday meet with Serbian FM Ivica Dacic on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Maria Zakharova, spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, announced on Wednesday.

Lavrov will also meet with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Thursday, TASS reported Zakharova as saying.

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic will take part in the upcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) and is expected to meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, Serbian Ambassador to Russia Slavenko Terzic told Sputnik.
