Australian MP doubts whether original Macedonians were Greek!
Australian Labor Party MP Alannah MacTiernan reportedly wrote an e-mail to an unnamed Greek-Australian Labor party member who stated concern over her position on the renaming of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). In her response to the citizen, MacTiernan wrote that it was not clear if “the original Macedonians can be described as ‘Greek'”.

Tourist arrivals up 20.8 % for Jan-Jun period
According to the Frontier Statistical Survey conducted by the Bank of Greece, in the period January-June of 2015, arrivals of non-residents from abroad increased by 20,8%, compared with the corresponding period of the year 2014.

Macedonia Online (MINA), a website focusing on issues of relevance to Skopje, reports taht Alexandra Papadopoulou was removed from her post as Greek Ambassador in Brussels because she failed to follow orders related to Greece’s line on the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM).
Macedonia Parties Pushed to Clinch Reform Deal
European Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn's spokesperson said the Commission regretted that Macedonia's party leaders had breached an October 6 deadline to agree electoral reforms.
The deadline was set by Hahn during his visit to Macedonia last month.
