VIDEO: Baby adrift at sea saved by coast guard in Turkey's west
A 10-month-old baby drifted a kilometer from the coastline of Turkey's northwestern Çanakkale province until a coast guard boat arrived to save her on July 3.
Melda Ilg?n was placed in an inflatable ring by her mother in the Ayvac?k district of Çanakkale, on the southern coast of the Dardanelles, before she was swept away.

Two people have been reported missing after a speedboat capsized in Istanbul's Bosphorus strait, crashing into the pier of a waterside cottage early June 28.
The speedboat capsized around 4:30 a.m. off Anadoluhisar?, a coastal neighborhood in Beykoz, a district in Istanbul's Anatolian side, after it crashed into the pier of the historical Hekimba?? cottage.
