İYİ (Good) Party Chair Meral Akşener has vowed jobs and a good future for the Turkish youth if the opposition alliance wins the presidential and parliamentary polls on May 14.

An armed attack took place at İYİ (Good) Party's Istanbul headquarters on March 31, and an investigation has been launched into the incident.

A bullet hit the window of the cafeteria section of the building and another one hit a business center next to the İYİ Party's building.

The building of a Turkish opposition party in Istanbul was hit by two bullets overnight, its leader said on Friday, in what she described as an attempt to scare party members ahead of landmark presidential and parliamentary elections next month.

"One-and-a-half months left to the elections, and our party building has been riddled with bullets from first to third floors following Recep's third threat," Aksener told a press conference after the attack.

Good (İYİ) Party Chairwoman Meral Akşener has reiterated that they will immediately sign the Istanbul Convention that stipulates solid measures opposing the violence against women.

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli accused the six opposition parties on March 7 of being "unprincipled," suggesting that even in the nomination process of their presidential candidate, the members of the alliance acted with a lack of principles.

İYİ (Good) Party leader Meral Akşener said on Feb. 1 that the six-party Nation Alliance's government program is the concrete plan of what they will do after May 14 elections drafted over discussions of the opposition leaders in "common sense."

The İYİ (Good) Party will launch a massive mobilization so that the youngsters can vote in May 14 polls, the party's chairwoman Meral Akşener has said, criticizing the government for choosing this date to avoid mass participation of the youth in the elections.

İYİ (Good) Party leader Meral Akşener criticized the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) of planning to bring the elections forward although they had long asserted to hold the polls as scheduled in June.
