Area Near Hospital in Central Sofia Sealed Off after Grenades Found
Two war grenades and other explosive devices have been found in out of the old buildings of Alexandrovska hospital, not far from the center of Sofia, media report.
The area has been sealed off by police, the Bulgarian National Radio reports.
A specialized anti-terror squad is on the site.
Masked youth throw petrol bombs at Greek Parliament (photos-videos)
A group of youth threw petrol bombs against the building of the Greek parliament during the student march at Syntagma Square in downtown Athens, Monday. While a protest of about 400 students was underway in front of parliament, a small group of masked youth broke off from the main body of the protesters and started hurling molotov bombs in Parliament courtyard.

IVF clinic targeted north of Athens
Police have launched an investigation following an arson attack on a IVF clinic in Halandri, north of Athens, reports say.
According to reports, unknown individuals smashed the glass doors before tossing molotov cocktails inside the building. The incident, which took place at 4.14 a.m., has caused damage, but no injuries.

Police defuse hand grenade bomb found outside Dafni precinct
Police bomb disposal experts defused an explosive device comprising a hand grenade on Saturday after receiving an anonymous caller telephoned a threat that the bomb would detonate outside the police precinct in Dafni, southern Athens.
The bomb was found in a bag that had been placed in a small park behind the police precinct.

The Greek authorities have beefed up security measures in front of ruling SYRIZA party’s headquarters in Athens, after Sunday’s attack by 30 anarchists with cocktail molotov bombs. Early Wednesday morning, an enclosed police guard post was set up outside the party’s main offices.
Turkish firm to manufacture 10,000 assault rifles
A mass production agreement for Turkey's first locally designed and produced assault rifle has been signed with a local company, the Defense Industries Undersecretariat has said.
"Some 10,000 MPT-76 will be manufactured by Sarsılmaz Silah Sanayi under the assault rifle supply project," the undersecretariat said in a written statement.

Police attacked with Molotov cocktails in downtown Athens
Riot police units stationed in Athens's Exarchia district were attacked by unknown assailants with Molotov cocktails on Friday night, authorities said on Saturday.
The incident occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on Tositsa Street, outside the old Athens Polytechnic.
