Defense Minister, Tunisian Ambassador discuss cooperation

BELGRADE - Serbian Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic met with Tunisian Ambassador to Serbia Majid Hamlaoui on Wednesday to discuss the promotion of all forms of defense cooperation, including the strengthening of military-economic ties.

Gasic and Hamlaoui agreed that the defense cooperation established so far primarily involves the military-economic forms of cooperation.

Gasic, Economides discuss defence cooperation

BELGRADE - Serbian Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic and Greek Ambassador to Serbia Constantine Economides have discussed improvement of defence cooperation between the two countries.

The two countries need to work on improving cooperation in areas of mutual interest, on realistic and rational foundations, Gasic said on Thursday.

Military envoys in Brazil, Poland, Angola, UAE

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic met on Friday with officers who will assume the duty of military envoys in eight countries in the next few months.

As of this year, Serbia will, for the first time, have military envoys in Brazil, Poland, Angola and the United Arab Emirates, while four officers will take over regular duties in China, Romania, Algeria and Croatia.

Serbia and Poland sign military cooperation plan

BELGRADE - The ministries of defence of Serbia and Poland have signed the 2014 military cooperation plan in Belgrade.

Representative of the head of the Serbian Defence Ministry department for international cooperation Colonel Milan Konjikovac and Polish defence envoy to Belgrade Colonel Jerzy Stepancik signed the document, the Serbian Defence Ministry said on Friday.
