Foreign minister Kotzias to start briefing party leaders on 'Macedonia' name talks

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias on Monday was to start briefing party leaders on the progress of his talks in Vienna last week with his counterpart from the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Nikola Dimitrov, on ongoing United-Nations mediated talks on the "Macedonia" name issue.

Mitsotakis, Gennimata disagree about constitutional review

The leader of conservative New Democracy Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Thursday spoke by telephone with the head of the Movement for Change party Fofi Gennimata for talks that focused on a potential review of the Greek Constitution.

According to sources, Gennimata reiterated her party's stance according to which the current Parliament should start the process of constitutional revision.

Center-left party proposes changes to Constitution

The center-left party Movement for Change has unveiled a set of proposed changes to the Greek Constitution, recommending that the process be initiated by the current Parliament.

Fofi Gennimata, the leader of the party which held its inaugural congress over the weekend, urged ruling SYRIZA and main opposition New Democracy to clarify their positions on the proposed reforms.

Greece's new center-left Movement for Change wrapped up its inaugural conference in Athens on Saturday. Officials unveiled the party's new logo, a rose in red, blue and green.

Earlier, the party's charter and policy program was approved by the overwhelming majority of members.
