Over 21,000 people violate curfews, lockdown

More than 21,000 people violated weeknight curfews and weekend lockdown in Turkey from March 22 and March 29, the country's Interior Ministry has said.

Turkey earlier this month moved to what the government dubbed the "controlled normalization" phase, softening some of the previously introduced measures designed to bring the coronavirus outbreak under control.

Adjusted restrictions enter into force

Ljubljana – The country-wide curfew is imposed from 10pm to 5am from Friday after the government decided to shorten it in light of the coming Daylight Saving Time change. Entering into force today are also inter-regional travel restrictions in red-coded regions. A negative rapid test result is no longer valid to enter Slovenia.

Burgas Introduces Curfew for Minors in Bid to Curb Virus Spread

Burgas authorities decided on introducing a curfew for all minors, and wearing masks outdoors becomes mandatory, reports bTV.

The tougher measures take effect from tonight with an order from the city's health inspectorate director.

In addition, all sporting events, including those with international participation, are banned, all markets are closed.

PM Citu: State of alert, extened; curfew to start at 22,00hrs

The Government adopted on Wednesday the extension of the state of alert on Romania's territory, the most important measure being the one referring to the curfew, starting at 22,00hrs instead of 23,00hrs as it had been so far. "Today the extension of the state of alert has been approved as well.

Police commissioner: Indications some investigations politically motivated

Ljubljana – Police Commissioner Anton Olaj, who took over in late January, told the newspaper Delo in an interview run on Saturday there were indications some police investigations had been politically motivated.

Olaj would not elaborate on details of politically motivated investigations in the police but he noted that the success of criminal procedure depended most on prosecution.
