Anna Fenninger Wins Alpine Skiing World Cup Combined Race in Bansko

Austria's Anna Fenninger won the Alpine Skiing World Cup Ladies Combined Race in Bulgaria's Bansko on Sunday witn a total time of 2 minutes 5.06 seconds from the two legs.

Overall leader Tina Maze of Slovenia followed 0.39 seconds behind.

Kathrin Zettel of Austria was third with 2 minutes 6.12 seconds.

Fenninger Wins First Run of World Cup Ladies Combined in Bansko

Austria's Anna Fenninger is leading after Run 1 of the Alpine Skiing World Cup - Ladies - Combined race in Bulgaria's Bansko witn one minute 12.73 seconds, followed by overall leader Tina Maze of Slovenia with one minute 13.18 seconds.

Nicole Hosp of Austria and Switzerland's Dominique Gisin were both third with one minute 13.32 seconds each.

Tickets for Bansko Alpine Skiing World Cup Events Now Selling

Tickets for the most anticipated event of the year in Bansko - the Alpine Skiing World Cup scheduled for February 27 to March 1, have already started selling.

The tickets can be found both in the Bansko ticket center next to the cable cars depot and in Sofia's Max Sport store on Bulgaria Blvd 81, Standart news reported.

Partizan loses to Spandau 04 in Berlin

BERLIN - Partizan Belgrade lost to host Spandau 04 in Berlin on Wednesday 8-6 (1-2, 3-1, 2-2, 2-1), on the fifth matchday in Group B of the LEN Champions League preliminary round.

This is the fourth defeat for Belgrade 'black-and-whites' and the first win for the German champion.

The same rivals will face off in the next round in Belgrade on March 4.

Maze denies Austrians for second title

Slovenia's Tina Maze continued her quest to win five medals, clinching gold in the super combined Feb. 9 at the World Ski Championships to spoil Austria's bid for a podium sweep.
      
The 31-year-old World Cup points leader added to her medal haul at the worlds, which includes gold in the downhill and silver in Super-G.
