Turkish security forces have carried out a total of 4,536 operations against the terrorist organization ISIL since 2016, arresting 13,696 suspects, with 4,517 of them sent to custody, according to the data compiled by Anadolu Agency.

Forty-three people were detained or arrested across Turkey on Oct. 29 for their suspected links to the terrorist organization ISIL, also known as Daesh, security sources said.

Turkey's operation in Syria has raised concerns that ISIL fighters detained by Kurdish-led US allies may flee and rebuild the group. It is claimed that many fighters have already escaped.
