World War Impossible Today Says Kremlin's Spokesman

A major war is currently impossible because of the nuclear parity, Kremlin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in an interview Thursday, answering a question on a potential world war with the use of nuclear weapons.

"Can a war happen? Putin said it clearly [during the Direct Line] that this is unlikely. We are being safeguarded by the nuclear parity," Peskov said.

Putin reacted immediately

"Russian President has ordered the government to provide aid and medical and psychological assistance to injured, wounded children, to provide the necessary assistance to the families of the victims," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, adding that the Russian guard had been given special instructions to pass a new decree on the types of weapons that can be used in civilian traffic.

Russia has Sent a Humanitarian Aid Plane to the United States

Russia has announced today that it has sent a humanitarian aid plane to the United States, where the coronavirus pandemic has already claimed more than 4,000 casualties, according to the France Press.

An AN-124 of the Russian Air Force, loaded with protective masks and medical equipment, has flown to the United States, the Defense Ministry said in Moscow.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will speak on the phone today, November 9, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed, TASS reported.

Turkey's Yeni Şafak daily reported earlier that Erdogan intends to have a telephone conversation with Putin on Saturday.

Delivery of S-400 to Turkey ‘earlier than planned,’ Kremlin says

The delivery of S-400 missile defense systems to Turkey is going according to schedule, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday, according to a report in Turkey's Anadolu state news agency.
"The delivery will be carried out earlier than originally planned, at the request of the Turkish side," Peskov was quoted as saying during a visit to Kazakhstan.
