Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli on March 15 reacted strongly against the decision of the Council of State preventing the Turkish oath in schools.

Ljubljana – Democrats (SDS) president and Prime Minister Janez Janša has announced in a letter to the party membership that the party will work in realising the commitments from the coalition agreement, and he expects the same from partners. A funeral was held on March 14 for Servet Soylu, Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu's mother, who died on March 13 at the age of 75 due to heart failure.

She had been treated in a private hospital in Istanbul for a while.

After a funeral prayer held in the Gaziosmanpaşa Central Mosque following the noon prayer, Servet Soylu was buried in Istanbul's Eyüpsultan Cemetery.
