Nikolic waits for government's proposal to dissolve assembly
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic said on Wednesday that he will call early parliamentary elections as soon as the government sends such a request.
After attending a ceremony to mark Military-Medical Academy (VMA) Day, Nikolic, when asked by reporters when this might be, replied: "Ask the government."
Nikolic to begin visit to Belarus on Thursday
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will be on a visit to the Republic of Belarus November 19-20.
The president's press service announced this on Wednesday.

"No pressure can force Serbia to recognize Kosovo"
"I trust the UN, to which Serbia has entrusted the care of Kosovo and Metohija in 1999," Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic said on Monday.
During a meeting with new UNMIK chief Zahir Tanin and the new chief of the UN Office in Belgrade, Simona-Mirela Miculescu, the president added that he also respects the sovereignty of his own country.

Nikolic to pay visit to Slovenia on Thursday, Friday
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will be paying an official visit to the Republic of Slovenia on Thursday and Friday on October 8 and 9.
He will meet with the country's top officials, the presidential press office said in a statement on Tuesday.
