Greece's top corruption prosecutor to be replaced
Next Monday, Supreme Court President Vassiliki Thanou will preside over a judicial council that will decide who will replace Eleni Raikou, the country's top corruption prosecutor who resigned last month.
Raikou's second term as chief corruption prosecutor had been due to end on May 11.

Prosecutor's Office: No Bulgarian Citizens To Be Extradited to Turkey
There is no legal option for the extradition of Bulgarian citizens in Turkey due to the indictment act served to them on charges of manslaughter, stated Bulgaria's Prosecutor's Office.

Bulgaria's Deputy Chief Prosecutor Brought to Court over 'Pressure' on Investigator
An investigator has filed a BGN 26 000 claim against Borislav Sarafov, the Deputy Chief Prosecutor over alleged "pressure" on him.
Strahil Kamenichki, who works at the National Investigation Service, allegedly spoke to Sarafov at a work meeting.
129 suspects, including İzmir Mayor Kocaoğlu, acquitted in fraud case
Some 129 suspects, including the mayor of the Aegean province of İzmir Aziz Kocaoğlu, were acquitted of corruption charges on Feb. 27, Doğan News Agency has reported.
The suspects, who were being tried without arrest, were charged in relation to "corruption in tenders" and "establishing a criminal organization," but were acquitted in the case's 30th hearing.
Court accepts indictment against Turkish fashion designer Şansal over 'inciting hatred'
A court has accepted an indictment prepared against Turkish fashion designer Barbaros Şansal and has said his trial would be held on March 16.
The court has ordered for the continuation of Şansal's detention and demanded one to three years in jail over charges of "inciting hatred and hostility among the public."

The legal suit against Sergey Stanishev for seven confidential reports lost by him while he was Prime Minister in the period 2005 - 2009 is about to be terminated.
The Prosecutor's Office and Stanishev's lawyer demanded that the Sofia Appellate Court terminate the suit because it became void by prescription a few days ago.
