Erdogan: Turkey hopes to co-produce weaponry systems with Russia

Turkey hopes to co-produce high-tech weaponry systems with Russia in the future, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, further defying its NATO ally the United States, which has warned the country of possible sanctions over its purchase of a Russian-made missile defense system.

Russian S-400 hardware deployment continues: Defense Ministry

Delivery of S-400 missile systems is continuing, Turkish National Defense Ministry said on July 13.
"Delivery of S-400 Long Range Air and Missile Defense Systems resumed today. The fourth Russian plane carrying S-400 parts landed at Mürted Airport outside Ankara," the ministry said on Twitter.

Turkey's S-400s to be loaded on planes Sunday in Russia, Haberturk reports

The first of the Russian S-400 defense systems that Ankara has purchased will be loaded on to cargo planes on Sunday and arrive in Turkey some time next week, privately-held broadcaster Haberturk reported. 

Washington has said that US sanctions would be triggered when the missile batteries arrive in NATO ally Turkey.
