Two businesspeople vie for leadership of Greek industry federation
Two prominent members of the Greek business community have announced their candidacy for the leadership of the Greek business federation SEV.
After Ioulia Tseti, pharmacist and president and CEO of Tsetis Pharmaceutical Group, who announced on April 4 that she would run for the position, Spyros Theodoropoulos said he was also a candidate.
Head of Greek business federation says will not seek third term
Dimitris Papalexopoulos, head of Greek business federation SEV, announced on Monday he will not be running for a third term at the helm of the group.
The same was announced by Efthimios Vidalis, president of SEV's Executive Committee.
SEV commits over €50 million for Thessaly reconstruction efforts
The Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) made an announcement on Wednesday, pledging over 50 million euros for the reconstruction efforts in response to the devastating floods that struck Greece's Thessaly region.
SEV outlined that their assistance will encompass humanitarian aid, including medical supplies, food, machinery, water, clothing, and water pumps.

SEV extends its support to InvestGR Forum’s digital version
After announcing its support back in February for the conventional 3rd InvestGR Forum 2020 that was supposed to take place on June 24, the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) on Thursday extended its backing for the digital version of the event, to be held online on July 15-16 and October 8-9.

Business group says 36 percent of firms struggle to fill positions

Rouvikonas members sentenced over paint attack
Two members of the Rouvikonas anti-establishment group were slapped with prison sentences of five and six months by an Athens court on Friday for the paint attack last month which targeted the offices of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) near Syntagma Square in the city center.
