World Bank revises growth forecast for Serbia
At the same time, this institution reduced its global growth projection by 0.1 percent to 3.0 percent.
Compared to June, World Bank's latest Global Economic Prospects report retained its 2019 projection of 3.5 percent growth for Serbia, as well as the 2020 and 2021 projections of 4.0 percent.

Skopje, Sofia Not Speaking Same Language When It Comes To Macedonian
Macedonia and Bulgaria's long-simmering dispute over the Macedonian language is threatening to boil over again, just as Skopje nears a resolution to its dispute with Greece over the name "Macedonia'', reported Radio Free Europe.
Vatican confirms: Pope is coming to Balkans
"Accepting the invitation of the top authorities and of the Catholic Church" the pope will be in Bulgaria from May 5-7, and on May 7 in Macedonia, a Vatican spokesperson said on Thursday.
The government of Macedonia announced that the pope will visit Skopje, the birthplace of Mother Theresa, during his visit on May 7 next year.

His Holiness Pope Francis will visit the cities of Sofia and Rakovski as part of an upcoming apostolic trip in 2019, the government press office said, citing an announcement of the Holy See. The pope will visit Bulgaria from 5 to 7 May 2019, the cities of Sofia and Rakovski in particular, and Macedonia's Skopje on May 7, 2019.
FYROM parliament prepared to revise controversial article, report says
The Parliament of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) is prepared to remove a reference in the constitution referring to citizens living outside the Balkan country's borders as "Macedonians living abroad," describing them instead as emigrants, local Telma TV reported on Saturday.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), on the list of the ten most polluted cities in Europe, five are in the Balkans, and they are Bosnia-Herzegovina), Pljevlja (Montenegro) and Skopje, Tetovo and Bitola (Macedonia).
