A US woman is suing Apple for nearly one trillion dollars after the company acknowledged it had deliberately slowed down iPhones as they get older. The US tech giant now faces nine suits over the issue.

Violetta Mailyan is reportedly seeking compensation, demanding Apple pay her $999,999,999,000.

Android Phones 'Betray' User Location to Google

A majority of Android smartphones collect location data and send it back to Google, even when location services are switched off.

News website Quartz reported Android phones gathered information about nearby mobile phone masts and shared those details with Google.

One privacy advocate described the finding as a "betrayal" of users.

Google has Added a New Feature on YouTube for Smartphones

The new business Android client found data about new dark-feature activation functionality. The new option is still being tested, but its name is already known - "Dark Watch" and for now it is only present in the developer's menu, reports kaldata. 

Google Phone Hit by 'Burn in' Problems

Google's new flagship smartphones have been hit by complaints about the quality of the screen, reported BBC.

Tech reviewers, who have had the device for about two weeks, noticed "burn in" on the display, while others noted "muddy" discolouration on the screen.

Google said it was investigating the issue, which it took "very seriously".
