Bulgaria's Judicial Council Fails Again to Elect Sofia Appellate Court Chair
Bulgaria's Supreme Judicial Council (VSS) has failed in its third attempt to elect a Chair of the Sofia Appellate Court.
The only candidate for the post, Neli Kutskova, Judge at the Sofia Appellate Court, was backed by 9 VSS members, with four votes against and 6 abstentions, according to the BGNES news agency.

IT Giant HP Opens Tech Lab in Business Park Sofia
American IT giant Hewlett-Packard, one of the biggest investors in Bulgaria, has opened a hi-tech lab in Bulgaria.
The facility, which occupies and area of 300 square meters in Business Park Sofia, will be used for the simulation of technological and business processes and the training of experts of the company in Bulgaria.

A man has been injured in Sofia after a part of a baseboard of an underpass fell over him.
The incident occurred around 11.20 am Wednesday close to the Embassy of the Republic of Romania, located on ''M. Eminescu'' Boulevard in Sofia.

Turkey Ambassador Blames Bulgaria for Gas Link Delay
Turkey has stood ready for years to build its part of a gas interconnector to Bulgaria, the country's Ambassador to Sofia has said.
"We were ready four years ago," H.E. Süleyman Gökçe explained in an interview with private national TV Bulgaria on Air, reminding that Turkey proposed back then the construction of a gas link so that Bulgaria attains energy independence.
KTB Owner, Executives Appeal Bank's Insolvency
Bromak EOOD, the majority owner of collapsed Corporate Commercial Bank (KTB or Corpbank) and its executive officers are appealing last week's court ruling which declared the bank insolvent.
This was revealed by Menko Menkov, a lawyer for Bromak which is owned by Bulgarian businessman Tsvetan Vasilev.

The Bulgarian female swing trio Sentimental Swingers are to present their latest album Cradle of Love on Saturday, April 25, in Sofia, their Facebook page shows.
The record features a total of 11 songs, nine created by them and two by legendary Bulgarian composer Yosif Tsankov.
