The Kremlin claims the West broke a promise it made in the 1990s not to expand NATO, and is now using this claim to justify threats to invade Ukraine.
One of Russia's consistent demands has been for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization to stop expanding to the east and pledge never to include Kiev in the security alliance.

It is about the incident in the Black Sea when the British destroyer sailed into Russian territorial waters.
She compared the official statements of the British side and the allegations of the BBC journalist who was aboard the British destroyer at the time of the incident and confirmed that the ship intentionally entered Russian territorial waters, reports TASS.

An urgent NATO meeting due to America's moves
This was announced tonight by diplomatic sources.
"The meeting is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon," where we will analyze the consequences of the decision announced by US President Donald Trump, saying that Russia did not respect that agreement and that the United States will not respect it due to its withdrawal.
The US withdrawal should take effect in six months.
