Reconstruction of Corridor 10 railway section launched
SOPOT - Serbian Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic announced on Monday the start of reconstruction and modernization works on a railway section of Corridor 10 funded by a Russian loan.
Grivita high school students design system for effortless replacement of tyres
A team of students of the Grivita Technical High School of Bucharest has designed an independent car lifting system that would save drivers time and effort when replacing tyres because of a flat. The invention will represent Romania in the European final of the Skills for the Future competition this June in Prague, the Czech Republic.
Romania Restarts Work on Transylvanian Highway
Romania's public roads authority, CNADNR, announced on Monday that it has awarded a 701 million lei (around 159 million euro) highway construction deal to a consortium made up of Spain's Corsan SA-Corviam Construccion SA and three Romanian companies.

Two Germanwings emergency landings in Stuttgart and Venice
A Germanwings flight bound from Hanover, Germany, to Rome was forced to make an emergency landing in Venice when a passenger and crew member became ill. Several reports indicated that the illness suffered by the passenger was a panic attack though Germanwings said that they were both struck by nausea and required medical treatment.

Polish newspaper FAKT gathered and published provocative photos in which two Russian stewardesses show off their rich cleavage in flight, while another Cathay Pacific stewardess flirts with the pilot.

US-based car rental company enters Turkish market
Zipcar, a U.S.-based car rental company, has entered the Turkish market in cooperation with a prominent auto firm to provide car-sharing services to Istanbulites.
Speaking at a press conference, Massimo Marsili, the firm's head of European operations, said on April 2 Zipcar was excited to enter the Turkish market.

Germanwings' Second Black Box Confirms Purposeful Plane Crash
Data from the second black box of crashed Germanwings aircraft have confirmed suspicions that the second pilot, Andreas Lubitz, most probably intentionally slammed the plane into a mountainside, AFP reported on Friday.
The second black box of the plane was found on Thursday evening.

Subway Trains to Sofia Airport Start Running at 1 pm on April 2
The subway section to Sofia Airport starts functioning Thursday at 1 pm.
Starting 1 pm on Thursday until midnight, passengers who board a train at one of the new stations will travel free of charge across the entire subway network in Sofia.
