Hahn: In provision of aid, Serbia is treated as EU member
BELGRADE - European Commissioner for Regional Policy Johannes Hahn said in Belgrade Saturday that the EU treats Serbia as a member state and will do anything to show that and help Serbia in the difficult situation caused by the recent heavy flooding in the country.
Vucic: It would be easier with 10 donors such as Norway
BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic thanked the Kingdom of Norway on Friday for being one of the greatest donors to flood-hit Serbia.
“Serbia will remember what the Kingdom of Norway has done for its people," Vucic said, adding that Norway has always stood by Serbia and offered its generous help.
Serbia Cable Channels Resume After Flood Mix-up
Serbia's cable distributor, SBB, on Friday, apologized to viewers for cutting shows during three days of official mourning for flood victims.
"We apologize to those who were not able to follow the entire package of our channels until now," it added.
The SBB resumed broadcasting of foreign channels after the Broadcasting Agency, RRA, denied having limited such broadcasts.

Norway among biggest donors to flood-stricken Serbia
BELGRADE -- Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić has thanked the Kingdom of Norway for being one of the largest donors that are helping with the flood relief effort.
He at the same time welcomed the decision of the Scandinavian country to fund 35 projects for the media and civil society.

Vucic to visit Berlin on June 11 at Merkel's invitation
BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has accepted the invitation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel to visit Berlin on June 11.
The visit will be the first in many years by a Serbian prime minister at the invitation of a German chancellor, Vucic said at a government session, adding that former Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic was the last to pay such a visit.
