Turkey's garment industry's exports to exceed $20 bln: Exporters
The Turkish garment industry plans to make more than $20 billion in exports in 2021, according to the head of the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM) on Jan. 21.
In a written statement, Ismail Gülle said ready-to-wear clothing exceeded 10% of the country's total exports in 2020, adding that the sector had managed to increase its exports in eight of 12 months last year.

Ankara takes legal route against EU steel curbs
Turkey has launched a legal challenge at the World Trade Organization (WTO) against EU tariffs on steel imports, the country's Trade Ministry said on March 20.
The EU launched an investigation and imposed curbs on steel imports in July 2018 in response to import duties applied by the United States.

The US and China Put an End to the Trade War?
The US and China have signed an agreement that should ease the trade war between them, shaking the world markets.
This is the first phase of a Beijing-Washington deal to settle a trade dispute.

A passage to Europe
Let me start with a bit of wonderful news: Next Tuesday, Nov. 6, the Chang'an Cargo Train (a.k.a. China Railway Express) is to make a short stop in Ankara. It is then going to pass under the Bosphorus, using the Marmaray tunnel. This is going to be the first direct cargo train traveling from Xian, China, to Europe, arriving at Prague passing through Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary and Slovakia.
