PPC completes Kotsovolos takeover

Public Power Corporation (PPC) on Wednesday announced the completion of the acquisition of the Kotsovolos chain of electrical and electronic goods from Currys Plc through which it will significantly accelerate its transformation into an integrated provider of products and services in the retail market.

Bank funding for a 451-mln-euro solar project at Amyntaio

Greek banks Alpha, Eurobank and National have signed loan contracts with the energy groups RWE and Public Power Corporation for the construction of four photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of 730 MWp in Amyntaio. This is an investment of 451.4 million euros, with co-financing from the Recovery Fund.

Hellenic Competition Commission approves Kotsovolos sale to PPC

The Hellenic Competition Commission approved the sale of electronics and appliance chain Kotsovolos to the Public Power Corporation (PPC), it said on Wednesday.

In a statement, the Commission said that it unanimously approved the 100% acquisition by PPC of Dixons South-East Europe (Dixons).
