BELGRADE - Red Star Belgrade have won the Serbian football cup by defeating Cukaricki 2-1 in the final on Thursday evening.
On a rainy night, in front of 10,000 spectators at the Rajko Mitic Stadium, the two teams produced a spectacular display with many opportunities to score.

Turkish wrestler becomes world champion for 12th time
Turkish wrestler Rıza Kayaalp became European Champion for the 12th time on April 22 in the Greco-Roman style 130 kg category at the 2023 European Wrestling Championship in Croatia.
Kayaalp defeated Sabah Saleh Shariati from Azerbaijan with a 2-1 result to win the gold medal in Zagreb.

Djokovic defeats Halys, to face Shapovalov in Adelaide quarters
ADELAIDE - Serbia's top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic defeated Frenchman Quentin Halys 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (7-5) at the Adelaide ATP tournament on Thursday to reach the quarter-finals.
The Serbian will play Canadian Denis Shapovalov in a bid to reach the semi-finals.
