Fenerbahçe earns Euroleague Final Four spot

Fenerbahçe Beko became the first-ever team to win a Game 5 as the road team to make to the 2024 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four, by beating Monaco 80-79 on May 8 night.

Having last made it to the Final Four in 2019, Fenerbahçe will play a semifinal match in Berlin against Panathinaikos on May 24, when Real Madrid takes on Olympiacos in the other semifinal.

Nunn renews PAO contract

In the wake of Panathinaikos' qualification on Tuesday to the Final Four of the Euroleague basketball championship in Berlin later in the month, the Athens club confirmed on Wednesday that the former Miami Heat guard Kendrick Nunn, who dazzled fans during the playoffs, has renewed his contract with until the end of the 2025-2026 season. 

Panathinaikos beats Maccabi to reach the Final Four

Panathinaikos is returning to the Euroleague Final Four after 12 long years, thanks to its emphatic 81-72 victory against Maccabi Tel Aviv in Athens on Tuesday that saw the Greens win the quarterfinal series 3-2.

Game 5 of this very entertaining playoff tie was pretty much like the first four games, i.e. balanced and hard-fought, with the lead changing hands several times.

Greens and Reds both on a 1-1 series score

Both Panathinaikos and Olympiakos are now on a 1-1 score in their Euroleague playoff series, after the Greens defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday and the Reds went down at Barcelona on Friday.

At the Olympic Sports Hall in Athens, Panathinaikos bounced back from its four-point loss on Tuesday to win Game 2 with a 95-79 score.

Reds conquer Barcelona, Greens lose to Maccabi

Olympiakos has taken the lead in its Euroleague playoff battle with Barcelona scoring a road win on Wednesday in Game 1, while Panathinaikos has conceded home advantage to Maccabi Tel Aviv losing in Athens on Tuesday.

The Reds beat Barcelona 77-75 and have taken the upper hand in the best-of-five playoffs that lead to Berlin's Final Four next month.

Bulgarian Codi Miller-McIntyre Leads EuroBasket Qualifiers

Bulgarian national Codi Miller-McIntyre scored the most points on the third day of the qualification matches for the 2025 European Men's Basketball Championship.

He contributed 23 points to Bulgaria's victory over the world champion Germany with a score of 67:62 on Sunday evening at Arena Botevgrad.
