Vucic meets with Ljubljana mayor to discuss EXPO 2027 plans
LJUBLJANA - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Ljubljana Mayor Zoran Jankovic on Thursday to discuss plans for EXPO 2027, to be hosted by Belgrade.
In a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile, Vucic thanked Jankovic for exceptional hospitality.
Dnevnik wants Ljubljana to turn off Christmas lights
Ljubljana city authorities should use the energy crisis not only to drop Christmas lights but also reduce illumination of key buildings, including Ljubljana Castle and churches, to save energy and reduce light pollution, Dnevnik newspaper says in Tuesday’s commentary From Dusk to Dawn.

Dnevnik sceptical of small solar power plant plan for Ljubljana
Ljubljana – Dnevnik says in Saturday’s commentary that Ljubljana Mayor Zoran Janković is reckoning without the host when he is announcing construction of solar power plants on roofs of public buildings, as it is not clear whether it will be possible to connect such power plants to the distribution network.
