PER's William Brinza files presidential bid

Former MP William Brinza on Tuesday filed his presidential bid with the Central Electoral Bureau (BEC) endorsed by the Romanian Ecological Party (PER).

'We can still make it so that Romania will no longer be a kneeled country, like it currently is (...) We have to believe that we can breathe in clean air after the election day together with Brinza and the Ecologist Party,' said Brinza.

He argued that after the presidential election Romania should no longer look like a broken family.

'The 3 million Romanians who have left abroad instead of staying with their families are there, working hard. Today we are facing a big ecological problem,' said Brinza. AGERPRES
