Nearly 200 Bulgarians in Vienna Learned About Job Opportunities in their Homeland

Nearly 200 Bulgarian citizens, who study, live and work in Austria, visited the "Austrian Companies in Bulgaria as Employer" career forum, which was held on 23 January in Vienna. The event is organized by the Labor and Social Affairs Office of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy at the Embassy of Bulgaria in Vienna, the Bulgarian Career Forum Association and the Foreign Economic Office of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce.

The aim of the initiative is for Bulgarian citizens to study, live and work abroad to become acquainted with the opportunities to start or continue their professional realization in the country so they can make an informed decision to return to Bulgaria.

The meeting was attended by leading Austrian investors in Bulgaria, such as A1 Bulgaria, Palfinger, S & T Bulgarien, EVN, Raiffeisenbank, Mondi Group, Dr. Pendl & Dr. Piswanger Bulgaria, Cargo-partner. They told about their work and offered interesting job opportunities.

The workplaces that were presented during the forum allow young professionals with vocational qualifications who have completed secondary or tertiary education to find the job they want to work and develop. Among the vacancies announced by the companies during the career forum are those for financiers, accountants, human resources and marketing specialists, as well as professionals with interests in logistics, computer systems and technology, production of paper and pulp. They are also looking for specialists who have completed the professional qualification "Electrical Engineering", "Thermal Energy", "Automation of Production" and others.
