Covid-19 in Bulgaria: 652 New Cases, Number of Patients in Hospitals Remains High

The swarm of new cases of coronavirus in our country marks a new decline, today they are 652, which is 585 people less than reported in the previous day.

However, a drastically smaller number of tests were performed - only 8864, which is 7395 less than the previous 24 hours.

Unfortunately, there is a slight increase in the number of hospitalized patients - today they are 6,905, which is 81 people more than yesterday.

The good news is that the number of people admitted to intensive care units has decreased by 8 and is now 674.

There was a serious decrease in the number of patients who died, as for the last 24 hours COVID-19 took only 31 victims, which is a decrease of 59 people per day, the total number of registered victims of coronavirus in our country is 16 399.

1222 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, so the total number of people cured of the insidious disease is 339,534.

The number of vaccines administered in the last 24 hours was 12,287.

Here are the registered new cases by area: Most are in Sofia-city - 161. Next are Varna - 75, Burgas - 57, Plovdiv - 52. The least are in Stara Zagora - 6, Kardzhali - 5 and Silistra - 2.
