Slovenian double victory caps season finale

The ski jumping season ended on a high note for the Slovenian team as Timi Zajc led a one-two finish ahead of Anže Lanišek, who also won third place in the overall World Cup standings.

Zajc clinched first place with jumps of 232.5 and 234 metres to finish just 0.1 points ahead of Lanišek, who jumped 239.5 and 242 metres, respectively, in the final event of the season in Planica on 2 April.

Third place went to Austria's Stefan Kraft, who ended up winning the ski flying trophy as well and finished second in the overall standings behind overall ski jumping champion Halvor Egner...
