60,000 Syrians move to Idlib from Turkey: Report

The number of Syrians going back from Turkey to Syria's northwestern province of Idlib and surrounding areas has so far reached 60,000, Demirören News Agency reported on Oct. 30.

Euro Area Annual Inflation Up to 2.2%

Euro area annual inflation is expected to be 2.2% in October 2018, up from 2.1% in September 2018, according to a flash estimate from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.

Vandals wreak havoc at Panteion University

Unknown individuals vandalized an area inside the capital's Panteion University that is used by the student union affiliated with the Communist Party (KKE) and attacked students with clubs on Monday afternoon. Assailants also attacked KKE students at the Athens University of Economics and Business.

Greek August retail sales rise 3.2 pct, led by supermarkets

Greek retail sales by volume rose 3.2 percent in August compared to the same month last year after a downwardly revised 2.3 percent increase in July, statistics service ELSTAT said on Wednesday.

Retail sales were led higher by supermarkets, furniture and home appliances, the data showed.
