They said they were very concerned and that their study was the first in the world to confirm co-infection with two strains of coronavirus.
The discovery was published on the medical site "medRxiv.org", and the study has yet to go through the review process and be published in a scientific journal, Reuters reports.

Aside from the detentions, "45,017 vehicles were inspected, 24 weapons confiscated and 59.9 kilograms of drugs seized," a statement said.

Over 30,000 people have been displaced by heavy rains in southeast Brazil that also killed 54 people and left 18 missing.
The storms in recent days caused floods and landslides, submerging entire neighborhoods and sending homes tumbling down hillsides in the states of Minas Gerais, Espirito Santo and Rio de Janeiro.
At least 11 Dead due to Heavy Rains in Brazil
Heavy rains have caused floods and landslides in southeastern Brazil, killing at least 11 people, according to the Civil Defense.
All of these people died in the state of Minas Gerais, two of them today in the regional capital, Belo Horizonte.
Rainfall is expected to continue in Minas Gerais, as well as in other parts of Brazil, including Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.
