Bulgaria to Meet Canada in Football Friendly
Bulgaria's national football team will play Canada in a friendly match on May 23.
The two football federations agreed to stage the match in the Austrian town of Ritzing, approximately 80km from the capital Vienna.

Refugees in Bulgaria are staging a protest to demand papers allowing them to head for Germany or another EU member state.
The protest is to be held Wednesday in front of the European Commission Representation in Sofia, according to reports of Trud daily.

Lufthansa Strike To Affect Flights To/From Bulgaria
The pilots' strike of the German airline Lufthansa will also affect the flights to and from Bulgaria.
A special section on the Lufthansa website shows, that flights from Sofia to Munich and Frankfurt from April 2 to April 4, included, as well as the early morning flight to Munich, are cancelled. Same applies to the flights from Munich and Frankfurt to Sofia, April 2-4.
Wizz Air Starts Flights Between Sofia And Malta In June
The low cost airline Wizz Air will start flights between Sofia and Malta in June.
The flights will be on Mondays and Fridays and tickets are already on sale.
Wizz Air is also starting flights between Sofia and Tel Aviv in May.
According to the company, last year it transported 900 000 passengers to and from Bulgaria.
Bulgarian-US Software Startup Attracts USD 1.9 M Investment
The Bulgarian-US software startup company Rinfinity attracted an investment of USD 1.9M.
It develops software for eliminating wasted office space.
Rifiniti is founded by Michael Gresty, who is also its chief executive, and Irina Mladenova. The company is based in Boston, but the software is developed in Sofia.
Vietnam Airlines Planning to Launch Sofia Flight - Report
Vietnam Airlines is reportedly interested in opening a direct line from Hanoi to Sofia.
The idea will be officially proposed during the visit of Bulgaria's Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski and Transport Minister Danail Papazov to Vietnam from April 5-9, Standartnews reports.
Indoor Sea Plan Makes Waves in Bulgaria
The Bulgarian Council of Ministers has announced that the country is likely to soon get a satellite city near the capital.
The project, comprising numerous 4 and 5-star hotels, four 22-storey apartment buildings and "an indoor sea, offering imitations of sun, high temperatures, waves and wind" will be among the key features.

Air Serbia reintroduces Belgrade-Sofia flight after 15 years
BELGRADE - Air Serbia national airline has reintroduced direct daily flights from Belgrade to Sofia after 15 years.
The summer flight schedule includes daily flights by ATR 72 airliner which can carry 66 passengers, with flights from Belgrade departing at 1.30 p.m. and flights from Sofia departing at 4.10 p.m.
