Air Serbia reintroduces Belgrade-Sofia flight after 15 years

BELGRADE - Air Serbia national airline has reintroduced direct daily flights from Belgrade to Sofia after 15 years.

The summer flight schedule includes daily flights by ATR 72 airliner which can carry 66 passengers, with flights from Belgrade departing at 1.30 p.m. and flights from Sofia departing at 4.10 p.m.

Reintroduction of flights for Sofia will considerably contribute to regional integration which will bring benefits to the entire region, and tourists and businesspeople will now be able to use the conveniences of everyday flights, Air Serbia Director General Dane Kondic stated.

He said that the new service ensures connections with continental Europe and key world destinations.

The flights for Sofia offer excellent links from the Air Serbia main airport at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport to many key destinations, including Abu Dhabi, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Stockholm, Moscow, Rome, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Tivat and Podgorica.
