A Russian member of the UN Mission in Kosovo who was injured while being arrested in a police operation in northern Kosovo on Tuesday has been sent to hospital in Serbia, UNMIK confirmed on Thursday.

Mikhail Krasnoshchenkov was sent to Belgrade from the Intensive Care Center in North Mitrovica, where he was being treated, UNMIK added.

The prime minister of Kosovo has condemned a grenade attack on the homes of two Serbian members of the Kosovo Security Forces in the country's northern Mitrovica region.

Police said two explosions early on November 26 caused damage to two homes but no injuries in the town of Zubin Potok, about 55 kilometers north of Pristina. Three cars were also damaged.

Kosovo office head urges "dialogue instead of arrests"

BELGRADE -- Marko Đurić has criticized the EU mission in Kosovo, EULEX for issuing arrest warrants against the current and former mayors of Zubin Potok.

The director of the Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija at the same time called for dialogue as a way resolve problems.
