Ankara wants timetable on visa-free travel to EU
Ankara has demanded the European Union lay down a "concrete road map" for visa liberalization, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said Sept. 9 following a proposal by Ankara for an interim formula to meet EU criteria for Turkish citizens' visa-free travel.

Economic policy, migration to top agenda of EUMed summit in Athens
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is hoping that Friday's so-called EUMed summit in Athens, which is due to see the leaders of Greece, France, Italy, Portugal, Malta and Cyprus discuss economic policy, migration and security, will lead to a strengthening of ties between the Southersn European countries ahead of the European Union leaders' summit Bratislava, Slovakia, next Friday.

Over 330,000 Greeks have fled the country to find work abroad
332,000 Greeks have emigrated abroad between 2010 and 2015 to find better work opportunities, according to official data released by the Greek Foreign Ministry services. Ankara wants lasting solution on Cyprus, says Turkish FM
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said Aug. 31 that Turkey will continue to do its part for a just and lasting solution to the Cyprus issue.
Çavuşoğlu's remarks came during a press conference in Nicosia alongside Turkish Cypriot Prime Minister Hüseyin Özgürgün.
