Turkish government seeks to mend ties with Israel, Egypt

Toddler sentenced to life in Egypt for killing three people

A 3-year-old Egyptian boy has been sentenced to life in prison for a crime he allegedly committed when he was 16 months old, CNN International reported on Feb. 23. 

In what appears to be a bizarre case of mistaken identity, a military court Feb. 16 found Ahmed Mansour Qorany Sharara - and 115 others - guilty of killing three people and sabotaging public and private property.

Cyprus Can Contribute to Southeast Europe's Energy Diversification - Bulgarian President

During the meeting with his Cypriot counterpart Nicos Anastasiades on Monday, Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev said that Cyprus can contribute to the energy diversification of the countries from Southeastern Europe.

Anastasiades is on a two-day official visit to Bulgaria on Monday and Tuesday at the invitation of Plevneliev.

Turkey wants estranged Egypt to be part of working group on Libya

Turkey has expressed willingness for Egypt to take part in a proposed working group formed to coordinate international efforts in Libya, which has been mired in conflict following an uprising that toppled veteran leader Muammar Gaddafi five years ago, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu has said.
