Türkiye supports Syria's territorial integrity, says top security council
Türkiye's National Security Council (MGK) declared its support for Syrian territorial integrity and expressed its commitment towards stability in the country in the evening of Dec. 5.
Chaired by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the council, in a written statement, outlined the country's stances in Syria, Lebanon and Palestine.

Lebanon: We hit a Hezbollah rocket launcher drone, the IDF says
The IDF said it carried out a drone attack against a rocket launcher of Hezbollah that was spotted in Majdal Zoun, southern Lebanon earlier today.
The launcher “posed a threat to the State of Israel and violated agreements between Israel and Lebanon,” the Israeli military said.
Cyprus’ new air defense system launched, Greece to follow
Cyprus' new air defense system was launched Tuesday, designed to protect the country from aerial threats, similar to Israel's Iron Dome.
According to reports, Cyprus' National Guard received the Israeli-made Barak MX system just days ago. The first battery was activated on Tuesday. Greece will follow suit.
Jewish settlers attack Palestinian towns
Jewish settlers mounted a string of attacks on Palestinian towns in the occupied West Bank overnight, burning homes and clashing with Israeli troops.

Oil transfer completed after Houthi attack on tanker Sounion
The transfer of approximately 150,000 tons of crude oil from the Greek-flagged Suezmax tanker Sounion to Delta Blue at the Suez anchorage has been successfully completed.
Maritime sources report that the operation was executed with the support of the Greek tugboat Aigaion Pelagos.
