Türk Telekom builds submarine cable station at Marmaris

Türk Telekom has built a high-capacity submarine data network at the Aegean resort town of Marmaris as a part of a $700-million project.

The SEA-ME-WE-5 project will connect 17 countries, including Turkey, to a system that stretches for more than 20,000 kilometers between Asia and Europe, according to company representatives. 

Turkey-based automotive giant set to sell new sedan to America

Tofa?, a joint venture of Turkey's Koç Holding and Italy's Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), is set to sell the Fiat Aegea sedan to the Americas.  

The Fiat Aegea, which is manufactured in the Tofa? facility in the northwestern province of Bursa, will be exported to the Mexican market in the initial stage under the name of "Dodge Neon."

14.7% of UK members said that they were most likely to visit Spain alone this spring with the idea of meeting a companion to join them for the journey, as Travel Daily Media reports.

Bulgarian snowboarder Radoslav Yankov won the world cup in men's parallel giant slalom on Sunday.

The 26-year-old from the town of Chepelare reached the quarterfinals and finished sixth in the last race for the season in Winterberg on Sunday, earning 400 points and becoming unchallenged in the final standing.
