Eurozone sentiment and inflation expectations rise in May

Eurozone economic sentiment improved more than expected in May and inflation expectations among consumers and companies rose for the first time since December, European Commission data showed on Wednesday.

Eurosceptic Victories Cause Concern in Albania
Officials in Albania are mulling the results of the European Parliamentary elections, which saw anti-EU, anti-establishment, parties triumph in Britain and France and poll strongly in some other countries.
As a result, parties opposed to the European project have roughly doubled their seats in the assembly.

25 Thousand Bulgarian Citizens Vote Abroad
A total of 25,353 Bulgarians have exercised their right to vote in the European elections from abroad.
The highest number of Bulgarian voters was registered in Spain, Germany, Belgium, the UK, France, Cyprus and Greece, Darik news reports.

Low Voting Turnout among Bulgarians Abroad
Only 21,810 Bulgarians voted abroad in the European elections, as of 8 pm Bulgarian time.
The highest number of expat votes came from Spain, where 4,537 Bulgarians voted, Dnevnik reported. In Belgium, 2,190 people voted, 1,538 in Greece, 1,911 in Great Britain, 1,498 in France, and 1,571 in Germany.

The Czech Republic, Latvia, Malta and Slovakia are heading to the polls on the third day of the European elections, Saturday.
The UK and the Netherlands held elections on Thursday, Ireland voted on Friday, while the rest of the EU member states, including Bulgaria, will exercise their right to vote on the last day of the European Parliament Elections, Sunday May 25.

European Elections Begin in the UK, the Netherlands
Millions of people are voting on the first day of the European elections 2014 in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, Thursday.
Voting will take place in the EU's other 27 member states over the next four days, with 751 MEPs in total to be chosen.
